"Cruising World" (for cruisers) and "Sailing World" (for racers) print magazines are very popular. They have pretty decent online versions.

"Sailing" print magazine contains some truly incredible photography. The online version now includes dozens of articles, although they save the photos for paper.

"Practical Sailor" is a commercial-free, print magazine that is published monthly, and supports an impressive online version with special privileges for subscribers. This is the "Consumer Report" for sailors, with lots of impartial product tests and reviews, as well as a how-to resource. It's a little pricey, but check out their web site for the special offer for new subscribers.

Check this out - a pretty decent online resource!!

Latitudes and Attitudes has always been sort of a renegade print magazine, dedicated to sailors who cruise and live-aboard, but has become much more. It has always been offbeat and whimsical, thus not really considered a serious sailing periodical. Furthermore, it was also virtually impossible to find subscriptions discounted by any mag vendor. Things have changed... I feel very compelled to compliment this magazine. It has constantly improved itself, and has stayed true to its mission to serve and reflect regular folks who sail.

The online version, as well as the parent web site Seafaring.com, is nothing short of amazing. The entire (current issue) magazine is readable online through a very clever interface. There are videos and audios throughout. For example, an online boat review with a full video tour, in, out , and sailing, is hard to compare to a plain, printed article. Each issue is also downloadable as a full color pdf file. Back issues are also archived. On the site, there is also "Latitudes and Attitudes TV," a full archive of their television shows, as well as podcasts, "Seafarin' Radio for cruising music, how-to-videos, and more.

The ubiquitous "Caribbean Compass" is a widely read print newspaper that focuses more on the Southern Caribbean, but is still very popular throughout the Virgin Islands. Check out the solid collection of archived stories and articles online, as well as other useful features.

The BVI Yacht Guide is a monthly online publication that presents features and articles related to sailing in the BVI. This is really worth checking out, as the news and articles can be quite interesting and informative. Back issues are archived from November 2006 to the present, so there is plenty of good reading here.

"Ocean Navigator Online" is a great online version of the renowned printed magazine for the offshore sailor.

"Multihulls" magazine in the printed world is the primary publication for this sailing group. The online version is not particularly generous, but worth checking out..
